Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Sidney, OH, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services for students from preschool through 12th grade. This contract position spans a full school year with an initial schedule of four days per week, with the potential to expand to five days. The role involves supporting a diverse K-12 student population, including preschool transition planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12, including preschool transitions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies to support student learning and mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate supportive services.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational psychology.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently.
Location:Sidney, Ohio (serving the Upper Scioto Valley area, including McGuffey, OH).
