After-School Program Leaders (part-time) 2026/27

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as after-school activity leaders and/or sports coaches for Fall 2026 running to the beginning of May 2027. These roles are essential in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a background in education, childcare, or related fields. You will play a vital role in facilitating various activities that promote learning and personal growth among students.

Pay is per hour and is determined based on qualifications and experience.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with students during program activities to ensure their safety and well-being on/off site.
• Plan and implement activities (see below)
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff
• Assist in the setup and cleanup of program activities, ensuring all materials are organized and available.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in educational or recreational settings is preferred.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support students effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

ELEMENTARY ACTIVITIES

Position: Art & Craft (PreK-6th grade classes)

Preferable Day/Time: Days are flexible/Time 3:30-4:30pm

Position: Minecraft (Beginners/Advanced classes) (2nd-6th grade classes)

Preferable Day/Time: Days are flexible/Time 3:30-4:30pm

Position: Cooking (PreK-K grade classes)

Preferable Day/Time: Days are flexible/Time 3:30-4:30pm

Position: Soccer Coach (PreK-2nd Grade) to run our weekend Soccer Program

Day: Saturday Mornings 9am-11am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
