GLC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Tech for an exciting travel opportunity in Zanesville, OH. This assignment is ideal for candidates with strong experience across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, and General Surgery. Candidates with a broad and current surgical background will receive priority consideration.
Assignment Details
- 13-Week Travel Contract
- Day Shift
- 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
- Schedule Options: Four 10-hour shifts or Five 8-hour shifts
- Shift start/end times negotiable during interview
Compensation Package
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,046
- Taxable Wages: $800/week
- Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246/week
- OT Pay: $45/hour
Call Requirements
- Approximately Every 5th Weekend On-Call Rotation
- 1–2 Weekday Call Shifts Per Week
- 30-Minute Response Time Required
- Potential Holiday Call Rotation Based on Staffing Needs
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
- BLS Required
- CST Preferred but Not Required
- Strong Critical Thinking Skills
- Excellent Knowledge of Central Processing & Instrumentation
- Extensive Current Experience in Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, and Other Surgical Specialties Required
Additional Information
- Candidates with minimal RTO will receive priority consideration
- Call volume and scheduling may vary based on department staffing and patient census
