Job Title: Industrial Paint Powder Coater

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour (Pay will be based on the interview and skill level)

Hours: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

You’ll work collaboratively with our production team to ensure our products meet the highest standards while delivering exceptional results.

What You’ll Do:

As an Industrial Paint Powder Coater, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating an industrial washer to ensure that all parts are cleaned to perfection.
• Applying wet paint or powder coating to metal surfaces using spray guns, ensuring even coverage.
• Properly masking parts according to specifications to prevent unwanted coating.
• Efficiently loading parts onto the conveyor system for processing.
• Mixing coatings and adjusting to the desired color by pouring powder into the hopper or mixing paint.
• Setting ovens to specified temperatures to effectively cure paint or powder coatings.
• Using a mil thickness gauge to check and ensure the correct paint thickness after baking.
• Removing parts from the conveyor and de-masking them according to quality standards.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and maintaining mobility through standing, walking, reaching, and bending as required.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in wet painting and powder coating, particularly with precision sheet metal fabrications (2 years preferred)
• Personal Characteristics: Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring mobility.
