Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Warren, Ohio
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Mandatory OVERTIME on Fridays-Sundays!)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Training Period: 1 to 3 Months

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $18.50 per hour
⬆️ Pay increase based on performance and experience. Sundays are DOUBLE time!

️ Job Description:
Mancan Staffing has teamed up with a leading company in the Warren, OH area, and we’re looking for motivated General Laborers to join their team! This temp-to-hire position offers training and an opportunity to grow within the company. The company specializes in the design and production of forged freight car brake parts and custom truck car components. ️

Key Responsibilities:
️ Operate machines like hammers, presses, upsetters, bulldozers, shears, drills, and grinders to complete workpieces.
✅ Ensure the quality of workpieces meets the required specifications.
Analyze blueprints to ensure parts are made within the quality guidelines.
Verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.
Participate in special projects and complete other tasks as assigned.
Follow instructions from crew leader when working as part of a team.

• ️ Perform additional duties as needed.

Dress Code:
Natural fiber clothing (comfort and safety first!)
Steel-toe boots (Metatarsals a plus!)

✅ Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, or
️ 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or
✅ Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 65 lbs.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and basic math abilities.
Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
Must be able to work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment.
✅ Team player with the ability to work independently.
