**Position Overview**
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all activities within the warehouse, including, but not limited to Operations Management, Inventory, and Systrems Management, as well as Safety, Security, and Compliance.
**Job Duties**
+ **Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.**
+ **Operate forklift to safely load and unload shipments in the yard.**
+ **Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and maintain quality standards.**
+ **Monitor and manage the flow of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.**
+ **Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to optimize overall supply chain performance.**
+ **Manage physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.**
+ **Utilize the Warehouse Management System (SAP) to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports.**
+ **Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.**
+ **File SOPs for WMS utilization.**
+ **Ensure all warehouse operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and environmental standards.**
+ **Develop and enforce robust safety protocols and conduct regular safety training sessions for all staff.**
+ **Maintain the security of the warehouse and inventory by implementing and managing security systems and access controls.**
+ **Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified hazards immediately.**
**Qualifications**
**Required**
Prior experience operating a forklift.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently follow detailed instructions while operating safely.
Valid driver's license along with a clean Motor Vehicle Report. Must pass the Davey Driver's Safety Course and obtain DOT driving certifications (if 21 years or older).
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
**Preferred**
Ability to use electronic devices and technological tools in the field, including iPads, computers, and warehouse management software.
Previous experience in performing manual labor outdoors.
High school diploma.
