Locum-General Dentist
General Dentist – Locum to Permanent
A fast-paced dental practice in Ohio is seeking a General Dentist for an immediate, ongoing opportunity. This position is strictly locum-to-permanent for a provider looking to establish long-term roots with a dedicated clinical team.
Position Overview:
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed.
- Duration: Ongoing (Locum-to-Perm only).
- Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Clinical Details & Scope:
- Patient Base: Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages.
- Procedures: Bread and butter dentistry, including:
- Crowns and bridges.
- Implant restorations.
- Extractions.
- Emergency care.
- Insurance Profile: 47% Delta Dental Insurance.
Facility & Technology:
The clinic is a modern, high-volume office equipped with:
- Digital X-rays and CBCT.
- Intraoral cameras in every operatory.
- Paperless charting system.
- Panoramic machine.
- Air-driven handpieces.
Team Support:
You will be supported by a robust, full-time staff:
- 1 Office Manager.
- 1 Front Desk Coordinator.
- 2 Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH).
- 2 Dental Assistants (DA).
- 1 Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA).
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) dental license is required.
- Experience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Intent: Only candidates interested in a permanent transition will be considered.
Travel & Compensation:
- Travel/Lodging: T&L coverage may be considered for the right provider.
