Class A Full-Time CDL A Driver - Local Bulk Material Deliveries - Home Every Night Job
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials, including unloading or "dumping" materials at designated locations. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Main Responsibilities include:
Safely operates a semi, dump or single axle truck and is responsible for local delivery of materials.
Navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on routes.
Ability to operate a Moffett, skid steer and highly skilled backing maneuvers are preferred, but not required.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.)
Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service related issues to Manager or Dispatch
Attends and participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by the Company or Manager
Notifies Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Notifies Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including closed lots, street, alleyways or potential safety hazards.
Communicates customer requests to Manager or Dispatch.
Completes and submits customer tickets and logs as required.
Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and the check-out process.
Performs all duties as scheduled by Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
Pay: $23-25/hour with OT during our busy season (busy season is typically April through September)
