Concrete Mixer Driver
Summit Concrete Supply is a locally owned and operated ready mix concrete company in Akron, Ohio. We are currently looking to add additional drivers to our existing team of dedicated employees. You must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a certified drug test.
Position Summary:
Concrete Mixer Drivers assure the safe and timely delivery of concrete to the customer. It is also the responsibility of the driver to care for and complete all necessary paperwork, assist with available work at the plant and maintain good public relations with customers and coworkers.
Requirements:
· Operate mixer truck in all types of environments, including off road, on job sites with a valid Class B CDL at minimum
· Ability to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors
· Aptitude to read, write, and perform basic math. Able to utilize a tablet and basic computer skills
· Possess an up-to-date DOT physical and valid class A or B commercial driver’s license
· Ability to pass and maintain a federal DOT drug and alcohol screening
· Must maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Federal and State Motor Carrier regulations and company policy
· Proper Pre-trip and post trip inspection will be required
· Keep and maintain a clean truck (interior and exterior)
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time, some Saturdays will be required

Mixer experience preferred but not required
Verifiable Commercial Driving: min. 1 year (Recommended)
License/Certification:
Class A or B CDL (Required)
