Holmes Custom Renovations is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter / Crew Leader for high-end exterior remodeling projects throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

We are looking for someone who can lead by example, maintain quality standards, communicate professionally, and help keep projects moving efficiently without constant oversight.

Our projects include:

• Custom Composite Decks
• James Hardie/LP Siding
• Patio Covers & Roof Structures
• Screened-In Porches
• Outdoor Living Spaces

This is not repair work or handyman service calls. We focus on full-scale exterior remodeling projects with organized systems, quality clients, and a strong reputation in the Cincinnati market.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and working alongside crew members on exterior remodeling projects
• Installing composite decking, James Hardie siding, framing, patio covers, and related systems
• Reading scopes, layouts, and project details accurately
• Maintaining clean, safe, organized job sites
• Communicating with project management and homeowners professionally
• Helping crews stay productive and on schedule while maintaining quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in exterior remodeling, carpentry, decking, siding, or framing
• Leadership experience on residential job sites
• Ability to problem solve and keep projects moving
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Professional communication and dependable attendance
• Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$45/hour based on experience and leadership ability
