FUNCTION: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure our workplace remains sanitary, safe, and presentable for employees and visitors while adhering to safety regulations and company standards.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Facilities are kept clean, sanitized, and well stocked at all times.

Offices, restrooms, break areas, conference rooms, and common areas are clear of trash, debris, and soiled surfaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all facility areas.
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory, work with outside vendors to request supplies as needed.
• Remove debris and spills from production and office areas promptly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for special events.
• Change lights and ballast as needed.
• Perform daily cleaning of offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Duties are performed in a safe manner to ensure compliance with safety specifications following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Work together with other maintenance personnel as needed.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Understanding of safety procedures in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties throughout the 10-hour shift.
• Capacity to lift 50 pounds and push/pull cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a US citizen.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILL

• Able to use tools required performing the job.
• Capable of pushing, pulling and lifting to perform responsibilities.

RELATIONSHIPS:

• Develops close working relationship with other maintenance personnel, operators and supervisors.
• Demonstrates a highly cooperative demeanor with other employees and willingly takes the initiative to help others succeed.
