Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and design of structural systems involving steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Produce and review construction drawings, specifications, and structural calculations.
- Coordinate design efforts with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Perform site assessments, inspections, and construction oversight as needed.
- Review submittals, conduct code reviews, and compile engineering documentation.
- Contribute to planning, presentations, and communication with clients throughout project phases.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it shortly after hire.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design—preferably in consulting or AEC environments.
- Deep familiarity with U.S. structural codes and design standards (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE).
- Proficiency with design tools such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, and Revit.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
