• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00) – Night Shift RN / Telemetry Nurse

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Active, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) — must be active, no pending
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in Med/Surg Tele specialty
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition and pass safeMedicate competency assessments during orientation
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry/ECG rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and post-discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement, safety initiatives, and maintain compliance with hospital policies and protocols
