Receivables Clerical Representative - Office position

Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS) , a division of GEMCORE , is a well-established and growing national direct-to home medical supply provider. We are seeking a highly motivated Receivables Clerical Representative to join our high energy team. The Receivables Clerical Representative ’s primary role is to assist the Cash Posting Department in various administrative functions and tasks.

• This is a full-time, non-exempt, entry level position.

• Once training is complete, this position will be part of a hybrid remote work schedule. The office is located in Hudson, Ohio.

• Schedule is 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and print EOBs from various insurance carrier websites.

• Process credit card payments in a timely fashion.

• Create deposits and batches within Brightree.

• Communicate with patients to verify correctness of account.

• Assist in preparing items to be posted.

• Scan and assist with mail and mail claims forms.

• Communicate with insurance companies on setting up electronic payments.

• Run small balance reports and make adjustments.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
