Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operator in West Chester, OH As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
• Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
• Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
• Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
• Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

This is a full-time, contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-year recent Machine Operation background

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-year experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.
• Experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication.
