Title: Senior Piping Designer

Duration: 12 months Location: Remote (U.S.) Description: The Senior Piping Designer will work on projects supporting industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, delivering high-quality 2D and 3D piping design solutions. This role involves preparing detailed piping layouts, reviewing vendor drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have strong design expertise, technical leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Responsibilities: Develop and execute piping design layouts using 2D/3D modeling tools (SmartPlant S3D, Autodesk Plant 3D). Review vendor drawings, design documents, and specifications for compliance with project standards. Manage assigned design tasks ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality goals. Identify and communicate scope or design changes to project leadership. Collaborate with multi-office and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated project delivery. Support project estimates, design reviews, and progress reporting. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers. Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or related technical field. Minimum 15 years of experience in piping design. Proficiency in Hexagon SmartPlant S3D and/or Autodesk Plant 3D. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical facility projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with remote, multidisciplinary teams.
