Test Technicians
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up UPS (uninterruptible power supply)
- Perform product testing and operation of product.
- Be able to operate switchgears, switchboards, and load banks.
- Be able to open and close AC/DC circuit breakers.
- Customer interacting during FAT.
- Ensure all other assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner.
- Assist Test Engineer on a day-to-day task.
- Provide backup for Test Engineer as needed.
- Perform work related and in support to continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as needed
Skills:
- Experience with high voltage testing a major plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, in English.
- Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVM’s, Digital Power meter, oscilloscopes in mid-level, and to correctly interpret the results.
- Ability to use basic hand tools (open wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and wire cutters).
Education/Experience:
- Associate of Arts/Science in Electrical Engineering or Technology, with four (2) year’s comparable experience;
- Certificate of Completion from a Technical Trade Schoolyears in process of attaining and/or Advanced Military technical school, plus four (4) year’s comparable work experience.
- High School Degree/GED or equivalent required.
