1ST SHIFT QUALITY INSPECTOR
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector to join our team in Russell’s Point. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, experience using handheld tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.

Duties

• Perform visual and functional inspections of parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Use handheld tools (such as calipers, gauges, measuring tools, and other inspection devices) to verify dimensions and specifications. defects, document findings, and report quality issues to supervisors or quality team members.

• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.

• Follow established inspection procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.

• Familiarity with inventory control systems and practices, including AS400 software is a plus.

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and cranes; certification may be required.

• Mechanical knowledge and experience in packaging, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving processes.

• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.

• Experience using handheld inspection tools is required.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
