THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Senior Analyst, Field Finance, you will contribute to the execution of Chipotle's vision by supporting one region with financial leadership. You will be responsible for providing meaningful and actionable insight, business perspective and financial leadership to an assigned Regional Team(s). You will contribute to the financial management for the region including strategic planning, performance measurement, budgeting, analysis, and training. This role collaborates closely with Regional Leadership Teams and Accounting/Finance Departments to ensure that financial efforts effectively support Chipotle's business culture, objectives, and philosophy.
LOCATION
This position will be based in our Columbus, OH office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Analyze and consult on the financial impact of key regional strategies and influence the development of long-term regional strategic plans.

Coordinate the preparation and presentation of regional financial plans and interpret trends and financial results of the regions.

Identify gaps between forecasted results and targets and provide recommendations to ensure annual financial goals are achieved.

Coordinate with all levels of Regional Vice Presidents and Finance in assessing needs for financial information, developing plans, reports, analyses, and tools to meet those needs.

Identify profit and cost opportunities and influence Regional Management on the prioritization of strategies to realize such opportunities.

Serve as the primary liaison between regions and Columbus Accounting Center to resolve significant accounting issues.

Develop financial reporting for varying levels of management within the region, effectively communicating actionable and important insight.

Train all levels of Regional Management and Regional Support Teams on financial matters and policies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

B.A./B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; or an equivalent in education and experience

MBA or CPA preferred

Five (5) years of experience in financial management or related areas, including accounting, planning and analysis, and financial reporting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

Working knowledge of profitability analysis and financial planning process

Understanding of restaurant operations and its impact on financial matters

Knowledge of and the ability to use a PC with demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Word)

General knowledge of database structure and reporting/query tools

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills and the ability to manage financial information in a confidential and professional manner

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and pay close attention to detail
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $86,000.00-$117,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
