Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This role helps ensure equipment runs properly while supporting productivity, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as needed
- Complete preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on schedule
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production setups and equipment changeovers
- Communicate equipment or quality concerns to leadership
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts and process enhancements
- Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams
Qualifications:
- 0â2 years of maintenance or related industrial experience preferred
- Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Experience with packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, drives, printers, or label applicators is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
