Your Day-to-Day
In this role, you are the go-to problem solver across the plant:
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned machines to keep them at peak performance.
- Diagnose electrical problems—including PLC-related issues—and get equipment back online.
- Interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical prints to identify root causes.
- Handle welding, cutting, and light fabrication with minimal direction.
- Document all work accurately and on time in the maintenance management system.
- Champion safety protocols and help drive a clean, hazard-free workplace.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and pitch in on additional tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical foundation with PLC experience and the ability to read ladder logic.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic plumbing.
- Welding, cutting, and fabrication proficiency.
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
- Solid computer literacy and confidence at the workbench.
- Meticulous attention to safety, quality, and detail.
- 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience .
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, and PPE protocols.
