Quality Control Lab Supervisor

We’re looking for a dynamic Quality Control Lab Supervisor to lead our lab operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage day-to-day activities in the Quality Control Lab to deliver exceptional results in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance expectations and departmental goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment effectiveness, LEAN principles, and quality enhancements.
• Oversee operational costs and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments on scheduling, maintenance, and lab coverage.
• Investigate out-of-specification materials and non-conformities, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop policies, SOPs, and long-term plans for quality operations.
• Prepare performance reviews, reports, and metrics while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

What We need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or related science field.
• 5+ years working with laboratory equipment and aseptic sampling techniques (preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals).
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a quality control lab environment.
• Strong understanding of FDA GMP, OSHA safety requirements, and microbiological testing methodologies (BAM, USP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
