Clinical Dental Assistant (Chairside Support & Radiology)

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) | Rotating Saturdays

About the Role

We are hiring a Clinical Dental Assistant to support patient care and chairside procedures in a busy dental office. This role focuses on assisting providers during treatment, maintaining operatory flow, and helping ensure a smooth and efficient experience for patients.

This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures (fillings, extractions, crowns, etc.)
• Take dental radiographs (bitewings, panoramic, periapical)
• Prepare and break down operatories between patients
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
• Escort patients and help guide them through their visit
• Enter and update patient information in Dentrix
• Monitor inventory and ensure rooms are stocked and ready
• Communicate clearly with clinical and front office teams

Qualifications

• Active CDA or NELDA certification required
• 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
• Radiology experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with infection control and OSHA standards
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Experience taking impressions and assisting with lab cases

Work Location

314 S River Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005 (in-person position)

This is a high-volume dental setting where teamwork, organization, and efficiency are important. The role requires being on your feet for extended periods and supporting multiple procedures throughout the day.
