Vascular Neurologist Faculty Position (Cleveland)

Position Overview:

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC), in partnership with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Vascular Neurologist to join our nationally recognized Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center faculty. This is a full-time, academic faculty position with flexible opportunities to tailor clinical care, research, and educational activities according to the candidates interests and expertise.

As a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, UHCMC is the central hub of a comprehensive stroke system across Northeast Ohio, including multiple Primary Stroke Centers and Acute Stroke-Ready Hospitals. This integrated system ensures consistent, high-quality stroke care and fosters collaboration across facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for acute and chronic cerebrovascular patients
• Manage patients on a dedicated Stroke Service and contribute to the UHHS Telestroke Network
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver state-of-the-art stroke care
• Engage in clinical research with access to national and international stroke trials through CWRU partnership
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing stroke care delivery
• Support the training, mentorship, and education of neurology residents and vascular neurology fellows
• Foster academic growth and career development with institutional support

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Completion of an accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship (minimum one year)
• Experience with Telestroke services preferred
• Commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, education, and quality improvement
