Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mill Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and operating both manual and CNC horizontal boring mills. This role requires a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings, as well as the capability to perform precise measurements to ensure accuracy and tolerances are met.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of CNC Boring Mill machining experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with carbon steel or stainless steel.
- Experience performing own set-ups.
- Proficiency with G&M codes, including start-to-finish programming (edits, writing, and conversational programming).

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled shop on a 1st shift schedule from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime may be required, typically amounting to 5-10 hours per week, to ensure tasks are completed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58280.00 - $74880.00/yr.
This is a direct hire position. This client is a small family shop but prides itself in not doing lay-offs even with COVID.
