Focused Foundations, LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Part-Time Nurse Aide Instructor . We are a growing healthcare training center dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in healthcare through high-quality education and hands-on training.

This position is ideal for an RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and helping strengthen the healthcare workforce in our community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom instruction for Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)/Certified Nursing Assistant students
• Conduct hands-on skills lab training and competency evaluations
• Supervise students during clinical training in long-term care facilities
• Maintain accurate student attendance, performance records, and required documentation
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health training requirements and program standards
• Prepare students for state testing and workforce success
• Foster a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of long-term care experience required
• Current Ohio Train-the-Trainer certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare workers

This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys teaching, mentoring adult learners, and preparing nursing assistants to take the next step in their careers through Ohio’s Certified Medication Aide program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom instruction for Ohio Certified Medication Aide students
• Teach medication administration principles, safety procedures, documentation requirements, and resident rights
• Conduct hands-on skills training and competency evaluations
• Ensure students understand Ohio Board of Nursing medication aide standards and scope of practice
• Maintain accurate attendance records, testing documentation, and student files
• Prepare students for successful completion of the state certification exam
• Foster a professional, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Ensure compliance with all Ohio Board of Nursing program requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of long-term care experience required
• Previous experience with medication administration in long-term care preferred
• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Passion for educating and mentoring future healthcare professionals
