Impact Employment is now hiring Rack Line and Powder Coating professionals. This is a 1st shift position located in Mentor, OH. Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. $15 to $18 per hour.

Job Description:

As a Powder Coater you will be responsible for ensuring that parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards. Your duties will include pretreating, cleaning, masking, priming, and powder coating a variety of parts as needed. You will perform required quality checks, including first piece, in-process, and final inspections, and ensure that parts are loaded correctly onto the line for maximum capacity. Additionally, you will change hanging patterns as needed, hang color tags for paint color changes, and put plugs/tape onto parts. You may also be required to sand and/or correct parts as needed, maintain department housekeeping, and troubleshoot as needed. Safety is paramount, so you must follow all safety policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of powder coating experience.

· 1+ years of experience with painting on a conveyor system line

· 1+ years of experience with paint involving wash stages

· Mechanical inclination

· Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and effective time management skills

· Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 50lbs

· Technical certifications are preferred or 2+ years of powder coating experience

· Verbal communication skills are required
