Job Type & Schedule Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed Work Requirements: * Ability to commute: Norwalk, OH (Required) * Work Location: In person Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer and Porter to join our team. This dual-role position plays a key part in ensuring both vehicles and the dealership lot maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and can balance both detailing responsibilities and porter tasks to support daily dealership operations. Responsibilities Detailing Duties * Clean, wash, wax, and polish both interior and exterior of vehicles * Apply protective treatments to vehicle exteriors and interiors * Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure all detailing standards are met * Maintain detailing equipment and supplies in proper working condition Porter Duties * Install seat, steering wheel, and floor protection in all service vehicles * Tag keys and ensure proper storage for all vehicles in service or on the lot * Keep all vehicles locked with windows rolled up when not in use * Maintain lot organization and cleanliness * Assist in moving vehicles to designated areas as directed * Ensure the dealership’s appearance is professional and welcoming to customers * Support service advisors and technicians by moving vehicles in and out of service bays as needed Qualifications * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * 1+ years of previous automotive detailing or porter experience preferred, but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Positive attitude and professional appearance * Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team Why Join Don Tester Ford * Family-owned and operated dealership with a strong community reputation * Supportive team culture and opportunities for career growth * Work in a professional and positive environment Benefits * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and vacation * Paid training and career advancement opportunities * 401(k) plan * Employee vehicle purchase discounts Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Don Tester Ford is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
