Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field; Master’s preferred
Desired Experience
- Demonstrated experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and recommendations.
- Experience with Cost Estimating Tools ((moderate) Excel, (beginner) ACEIT).
- Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) certification from International Cost Estimating & Analysis Association (ICEAA) or entry level cost estimating certificate from DAU or higher.
- 4 years of acquisition experience in cost estimating and serving a program office, PEO, Service/Defense agency level, or supporting a program that reports to a Service Acquisition Executive (SAE)
- Entry Level Experience in Python
- Entry Level Experience in SQL
- Experience with ADVANA, DAI

Responsibilities:
SANCORP is seeking an Operations Research and Systems Analyst to support the Air Force Research Laboratory through the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). The following are examples of responsibilities:
- Develop Cost Models and estimates to support funding decisions as per DODI 5000.73 and Service Cost Manuals.
- Support the program by providing research, modeling, financial analysis, and technical writing support.
- Support analyses pertaining to risk management associated with warfighting capability development.
- Taking structured and unstructured data and distilling the information into a cohesive analytical product for the senior military audience.
- Assist in developing, assessing, analyzing, documenting, modifying, integrating, and staffing materiel requirements.
- Assist in developing, assessing, analyzing, documenting, modifying, integrating, and staffing funding requirements.
