Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Cincinnati, OH 45212 . This is a 10-week contract with potential for extension.

Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain patient flow during clinic hours and assist providers with examinations and treatments.

· Record vital signs, review of systems, and update patient medical, social, and family histories.

· Accurately document all information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

· Prepare and organize patient charts, review diagnostic test results, and obtain outside records as needed.

· Refill and pre-authorize medications, coordinate with pharmacies and insurance, and maintain medication logs.

· Support front desk operations: schedule appointments, check patients in/out, and complete pre-certifications.

· Perform clinical duties such as EKGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and cast removal.

· Prepare and maintain exam rooms, order supplies, and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety standards.

· Assist with patient calls, MyChart messages, and EMR in-baskets to support continuity of care.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

· 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required.

· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EMR systems – Epic experience).

· Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

· Ability to travel to other physician offices if needed.

Certification:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.

• Location : Cincinnati, OH 45212
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Pay: $16/hour - $20/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
