Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED Main)

Duties / Job Description:

• Provide specialized nursing care to individuals and groups.
• Use knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care .
• Deliver care based on the TCH model , emphasizing partnership with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ensure care is age-specific and culturally appropriate .
• Adhere to the American Nursing Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act .

Unit Description – ED Main:

• Specialty: Adult cardiac care & complex internal medicine.
• Size: 33-bed emergency department.
• Team: Board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, PAs, and social workers.
• Staffing: All-RN nursing team.
• Environment: High-acuity, fast-paced, requires strong critical thinking skills .
