POSITION: Elementary School Counselor
LOCATION: Brecksville-Broadview Heights Elementary School
EFFECTIVE: August 1, 2026
SALARY : Starting salary will depend on the candidate's experience and training.
Qualifications
- Holds and maintains the required Ohio Department of Education credentials.
- Acts according to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
- Embraces high-performance standards (e.g., engagement, proficiency, resilience, etc.).
- Maintains a record free of criminal violations that prohibit public school employment.
Preferred Attributes:
- High-quality leadership skills
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Previous Experience as a school counselor
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling and guidance services to students and parents
- Work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and members of the BBHCSD counseling team.
- Coordinate and assist with the implementation of Section 504 plans
- Other duties as assigned by the Administration
