We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and repair engine and transmission issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license; CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Pay Information:
- Competitive salary of $800 - $1500 a week, commensurate with experience. Benefits:
