In our dynamic **Vascular Medicine team** , you'll play a key role in providing expert, compassionate care to patients with vascular conditions in an outpatient setting. As part of this collaborative and patient-focused environment, our nurses support both clinical visits and specialized vascular procedures, helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide hands-on nursing care for patients during outpatient visits and vascular procedures
+ Assist with and support procedures such as:
+ Sclerotherapy
+ Laser vein ablations
+ Phlebectomies
+ Deliver skilled care and education in our Wound Care Clinic
+ Prepare patients for procedures performed with oral anxiety medication only (no sedation)
+ Collaborate with an expert interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, seamless, and compassionate care

**A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday, (4x10-hour shifts), 7:00am-5:30pm. No weekends/holidays.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
+ Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
+ Administer medication and treatments.
+ Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
+ Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
+ Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.
+ Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
+ Cover other nursing roles within the department.
+ Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
+ One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing, walking and occasional lifting.
+ Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
+ Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
+ Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
+ Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
+ Physical requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
**Pay Range**
Minimum hourly: $31.50
Maximum hourly: $49.90
