In our dynamic **Vascular Medicine team** , you'll play a key role in providing expert, compassionate care to patients with vascular conditions in an outpatient setting. As part of this collaborative and patient-focused environment, our nurses support both clinical visits and specialized vascular procedures, helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life. **What You'll Do:** + Provide hands-on nursing care for patients during outpatient visits and vascular procedures + Assist with and support procedures such as: + Sclerotherapy + Laser vein ablations + Phlebectomies + Deliver skilled care and education in our Wound Care Clinic + Prepare patients for procedures performed with oral anxiety medication only (no sedation) + Collaborate with an expert interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, seamless, and compassionate care **Why You'll Love This Role:** + Work in a daytime, outpatient environment - no weekend or holiday shifts + Gain specialized vascular and wound care experience + Be part of a supportive, highly skilled team dedicated to patient-centered care **A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday, (4x10-hour shifts), 7:00am-5:30pm. No weekends/holidays.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting. + Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans. + Administer medication and treatments. + Initiate CPR and other emergency measures. + Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings. + Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment. + Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families. + Cover other nursing roles within the department. + Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program) + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) + One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Click the link and see how we're dedicated to providing what matters most to you: **Physical Requirements:** + Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing, walking and occasional lifting. + Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. + Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. + Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. + Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Physical requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. **Pay Range** Minimum hourly: $31.50 Maximum hourly: $49.90 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
