Director of Nursing
Key Responsibilities:
- Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facility
- Ensuring continued adherence to all federal state and local regulations
- Management and oversight of all nursing staff
- Providing planning organization education supervision and evaluation of all services provided in the facility
- Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties
- Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget
- Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations Medicare and Medicaid
