Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An Ohio-licensed Special Education teacher is needed to lead a self-contained classroom serving students in grades 7 through 12. This contract position focuses on delivering tailored instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of middle and high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning challenges.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Special Education teaching license.
• Experience teaching grades 7-12, preferably in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
