TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience; Endoscopy experience required; PACU experience preferred; 1:1 patient ratio experience required. License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Endoscopy experience - 1:1 patient ratio experience Description: The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an endoscopy setting. The shift hours are from 08:00 to 20:30, covering 12.5 hours daily. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with a focus on endoscopy. Candidates should ideally have experience in PACU as well. Must have experience with a 1:1 patient ratio. BLS and ACLS certifications are required for this role. The unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses including active GI bleeding, Barrett's esophagus, biliary tract disease, and more. Procedures performed in this unit include EGD, Colonoscopy, and endoscopic treatments. Experience with the Olympus endosurgical equipment is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with an anticipated daily census of 60-70 cases. Communication and teamwork skills are essential for effective collaboration with the healthcare team. Compliance with credentialing processes and requirements is mandatory during the hiring process.
