Supervisor, Warehouse

Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including material handling, receiving, storage, and logistics. This role ensures efficient and accurate movement and distribution of goods while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor leads a team to optimize workflows, apply LEAN principles, and uphold a clean, organized, and safe environment through effective housekeeping practices. They demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and implementing practical solutions. Additionally, the supervisor drives continuous improvement initiatives through feedback gathering and actionable strategies, while collaborating closely with Production leadership to ensure seamless material flow and operational alignment.
What You'll Do as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, material handling, and outbound logistics.
- Lead people management activities, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, coaching, and terminations as needed.
- Manage material movement through Warehouse Management System (WMS) and physical processes, including:
- Receiving inbound freight
- Moving raw materials into production
- Staging finished goods
- Shipping products to the distribution center
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational challenges, improve workflows, and address issues proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational data, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) from incidents or complaints.
- Encourage and evaluate suggestions from team members and remain open to alternative methods to improve operations.
- Train, supervise, motivate, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies.
- Manage warehouse storage systems to maximize space utilization and inventory accuracy.
- Implement and sustain LEAN practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure housekeeping standards are met to maintain a safe and organized facility.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet customer and production requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material flow and support manufacturing schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits for accuracy.
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Operate PIT equipment including tow motors, turrets, and electric pallet jack’s as needed.
- Back up all warehouse related areas of responsibility as needed.
The Experience, Abilities, and Skills Required
- 4 years Warehouse/Logistics or supply chain related experience with a High School Diploma.
- 2 years experience in a Warehouse Operations supervisory role with an Associates degree in business, operations or supply chain management or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office. Oracle experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse operations
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate required tools and equipment: Forklift, power jack, manual power jack, hand bander, stretch wrapper, and company box truck.

Pay range for this opportunity is $67,362.50 - $83,212.50. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
