Planner
Job Title: PlannerJob Description
As a Planner, you will develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and safety stock levels. You will monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring seamless coordination with Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Warehouse teams to maintain product availability. Your role involves using ERP/MRP systems to keep production data accurate, tracking progress on work orders, and adjusting plans as necessary. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and distribution activities, propose solutions to supply chain disruptions, and recommend process improvement ideas.
Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Warehouse teams to ensure product availability.

Use ERP/MRP systems to keep production data accurate and up to date.

Track progress on work orders and adjust plans as needed.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and distribution activities.

Monitor for any supply chain disruptions and propose solutions.

Identify and recommend process improvement ideas.

Maintain Distribution Order dating to optimize material flow from Manufacturing to the Distribution Center.

Support operations with on-time delivery of material to the work centers.
Essential Skills
-
2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing planning role.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, M3, or similar).

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with production and schedule planning.

Proficient in inventory management and supply chain processes.
Work Environment
You will work onsite in a dynamic and collaborative environment located in Solon. The role involves working with a team under the guidance of a Materials Manager in a supportive setting that encourages independent and team-based problem-solving.

This is a Contract position based out of Solon, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
