CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist contract
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43203 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Teaching & Level III Trauma Center
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Holiday Coverage: Required as needed
• Floating: May float to various hospital units
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2220 - $2280 per week

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or trauma setting
• Active ARRT (R) certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Active BLS certification
• Ohio state radiology license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners required
• Proficient in IV starts and contrast administration
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency/trauma environments
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Two professional references required (at least one from a supervisor or manager)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and more
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely
• Start peripheral IVs and monitor patient safety throughout procedures
• Operate Siemens 128-slice CT scanners and related radiology equipment
• Deliver imaging services for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency/trauma patients
• Float to different hospital units as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population
