Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of experience; Post-operative open heart care experience; Critical care experience preferred License: Active Ohio or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience in chest tube and other drain management Experience in pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities Experience with assisting in procedures and equipment management Description: The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his or her shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff. Must float to all units within the skill level. Candidates should be proficient in recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms. Advanced knowledge of cardiac conditions is essential. Experience with various equipment and procedures is necessary, including management of temporary pacers and non-invasive ventilation devices. About Cynet Health
