Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team in a hands-on manufacturing and construction environment. This role involves welding, fabricating, and assembling components while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, perform precise measurements, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: $16-$18/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and precision joining of metal components
- Fabricate parts and assemblies according to specifications and blueprints
- Detab and finish welded components as required
- Assemble carts and other fabricated products
- Prepare materials prior to welding and fabrication
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure weld accuracy and structural integrity
- Use basic math skills for measurements, layout, and accuracy
- Support construction-related tasks and general labor duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Mathematical accuracy for measurements and layouts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive and labor-intensive tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Manufacturing / fabrication shop setting
- Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and manual labor
