** This position is NOT REMOTE and will be fully in-person at our administration building in Hamilton, Ohio. You will be expected to commute to the office Mon-Fri.

Data Analyst Summary
The data analyst role solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.

- Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.

- Define organization-wide metrics and relevant data sources.
- Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions.
- Oversee analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
- Monitor the quality of data submitted to regulatory agencies.
- Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development of plans to resolve data issues.
- Develop, document, and perform testing and validation as needed.
- Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- Support regular data management processes and ad hoc user requests.
- Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience
Preferred: Advanced Degree in quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering. Advanced in SQL, SAS, and other data systems. Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, or public health. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis or equivalent analytic experience. Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling. Experience with tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating data visualizations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to gain knowledge of current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, text paging, Internet, and Intranet.
