Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer with strong SQL skills for a fully remote role. The Data Engineer with experience working across enterprise customer data ecosystems. Qualified candidates will have 6+ years of data engineering experience in SQL along with experience working with customer data. This role is starting as a 3-6+ month temporary role with a good chance of extension or temp-to-hire.

Pay Range: $50-60 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Data Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the data pipelines that power our customer 360 initiatives, enabling unified customer profiles, advanced segmentation, and personalized marketing experiences.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and unify customer data within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

• Enable Customer 360 view by integrating multiple first party and third-party data sources.

• Implement and optimize identity resolution processes within AEP and through external vendors (e.g., Epsilon, LiveRamp, etc.).

• Collaborate with data architects, marketers, and analysts to support data activation and personalization initiatives.

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations(GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

• Work closely with data modeling, profile stitching, and segmentation components inAEP’s Real-Time CDP.

• Build and optimize queries, ETL/ELT workflows,and transformations using AWS Redshift and related services.

• Integrate and synchronize customer data between AEP, MDM systems (Stibo, Informatica), and other enterprise systems.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, CRM, Analytics, and Engineering) to ensure data readiness for downstream use cases.

• Monitor data quality, lineage, and performance across the customer data ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development which includes 3+ years experience with customer data. CDP or AEP is a plus but NOT required.

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills,

• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools likeAirflow, Glue, Informatica, or equivalent.

• Strong understanding ofdata governance,metadatamanagement,andprivacy compliance in customer data environments. GDPR, CCPA are highly preferred.

• Proficiency inAWS Redshiftand other data warehousing technologies is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with CDP- particularlyReal-Time CDP,Data Ingestion,Identity Service,and Segmentation Service is a plus but other customer data systems knowledge will be considered.

• Proficiency inone or more scripting/programming languages: Python, Scala, or Java is a plus.

• Familiarity with MDM systems(e.g., Stibo, Informatica MDM) and their integration patterns is a plus.
