Office Manager – Join Our Growing Law Firm

Location: 1625 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH, 43220

Schedule: Full Time, In Office

Compensation: $36.00 hourly

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? The Meade Law Group is seeking an Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth, efficient support for attorneys, staff, and clients. This role combines office leadership with billing and financial oversight , making it a key position in the success of our firm.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily office operations, staff, and paralegals, ensuring productivity and efficiency
• Manage payroll submission, staff scheduling, PTO approvals, and employee evaluations
• Supervise intake, case openings/closings, and file/document management
• Coordinate all phases of client billing — drafting invoices, issuing prebills, amending as needed, and applying payments
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, and prepare regular reports for leadership
• Support attorneys with billing questions and ensure timely billing for hourly and flat-fee clients
• Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with all legal and ethical standards
• Create and maintain operating procedures and firm calendar management

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance a plus
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in office management or administrative leadership; legal billing experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal billing/accounting software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment
