Storage Squad was founded in 2011 in Ithaca, NY, by Cornell students who wanted to make college moving & storage easier. Over the past 10+ years, the business has grown, and in 2020 it became part of the 1-800-PACK-RAT | Zippy Shell Moving & Storage Made Simple family.

Today, Storage Squad helps students at 40+ schools across 15+ states – and we’re still growing! Our partner schools appreciate how we help students while reducing congestion in and around campus, and our students and families appreciate how we make move-in and move-out easier and less stressful.

As a Market Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth. This is a challenging position that demands long hours, decision-making autonomy, and leadership skills to oversee market operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in logistics, organization, leadership, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee staff operations across designated regions and schools.
• Lead recruitment efforts, hiring appropriate team members for your region.
• Coordinate logistics, including renting vehicles and organizing daily schedules for material deliveries and moving operations.
• Execute onsite marketing efforts, distributing promotional materials on university campuses.
• Make independent, informed decisions to address regional challenges without constant input from upper management.
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with universities and local vendors in your region.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
• Address any immediate customer concerns or complaints.

Additional Details:

• Labor involvement is required during peak season.
• This is a seasonal role from February to September 2025 .
• Compensation is hourly with bonuses based on financial performance and is based on experience and region.
