Application Analyst (.Net/AI)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Analysis to support an enterprise IT modernization initiative. This role is focused on deep technical analysis and system assessment, not hands-on coding. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in C#/.NET development, paired with the ability to analyze legacy systems and define modernization paths using AI-assisted tools. This team is building our a new producer management integration tool. This individual will work closely with a internal team to assess an existing application ecosystem, identify what functionality should remain or be transformed, and provide clear technical recommendations and design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy C#/.NET applications and APIs to understand structure, dependencies, and behavior

• Determine what functionality should be retained, retired, or modernized

• Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate application analysis and documentation

• Evaluate integration points within a producer management ecosystem

• Produce clear analysis and design deliverables, including recommendations and future-state concepts

• Build proofs of concept to validate approaches (analysis-focused)

• Collaborate onsite with IT and business stakeholders in a fast-changing environment

Skills and Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET Core (.NET 10 preferred)

• Experience analyzing RESTful APIs in .NET environments

• Proven background in application analysis, system assessment, or modernization efforts

• Proficient using AI tools for engineering analysis (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, GitHub, etc.)

• Ability to analyze UI layers (Blazor)

Experience working with legacy codebases - Kafka or event-driven architecture exposure

• Enterprise modernization or transformation experience

• Experience with integration-heavy systems

Exposure to producer management, licensing, or regulated systems
