Job Summary

FASTSIGNS - Central Canton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Project Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our customer experience, serving as a key point of contact from initial inquiry to project completion. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of understanding client needs, creating accurate estimates, and supporting our production and installation teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation & Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new prospects and existing clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

    • Conduct needs assessments with customers to fully understand their signage requirements, project goals, and budget.

    • Professionally represent the company, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Estimating & Quoting:

    • Gather all necessary project specifications, including measurements, materials, and design elements, to build accurate and competitive project estimates.

    • Prepare and deliver clear, detailed quotes to clients in a timely manner.

    • Follow up on submitted quotes and answer any client questions to move projects forward.

  • Project & Production Support:

    • Coordinate with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure a smooth project workflow.

    • Assist the production team with hands-on tasks such as vinyl application, substrate preparation, and finishing as needed.

    • Provide on-site support to the installation team, which may include site surveys, preparation, and hands-on assistance during installs.

  • Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate records of client communications, estimates, and project details in our CRM system.

    • Process orders and ensure all required information is documented for the production team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field is a plus.

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or project coordination is highly preferred.

  • Experience in the sign, graphics, or printing industry is a significant advantage.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.

  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with estimating software or design programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.

  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations for estimates.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for potential site visits.

  • Must have the physical ability to occasionally lift materials (up to 50 lbs) and assist with production/installation tasks.

Work Schedule & Benefits

  • Hours: Consistent schedule of Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Paid Time Off: Paid major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
