Job Title: Provider Integration Specialist
Location: Norwood, OH
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift (Options: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM)
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Pay Range: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly organized and proactive Provider Integration Specialist to manage the full onboarding and transition lifecycle for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role serves as the critical link between contract execution and a successful first day of practice. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with medical staff leadership, service line teams, and operational departments to ensure providers are fully supported and operationally ready.
Key Responsibilities
Provider Onboarding
Lead end-to-end project management for onboarding newly hired physicians and APPs
Ensure all administrative, system access, and hardware requirements are completed prior to Day One
Provider Transitions
Coordinate integration efforts for providers transferring or expanding practice locations
Support continuity of care and minimize disruption for providers and patients
Offboarding Coordination
Manage provider departure processes, including benefits and retirement communications
Coordinate return and recycling of issued hardware and equipment
Process Improvement
Apply Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to assess and enhance onboarding workflows
Identify and implement improvements to reduce delays and improve provider experience
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a liaison among IT, HR, Medical Staff, Operations, and leadership teams
Maintain alignment on timelines, deliverables, and organizational goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of process improvement or project management experience within a healthcare environment
Demonstrated experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Direct physician onboarding experience required (locum recruitment experience may be considered)
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
Strong communication skills, sound professional judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2.5 years of experience working directly with physicians
Experience leading cross-functional teams, including indirect (“dotted line”) reporting relationships
