Overview
Ohio - CVOR Surg Tech (Open Heart) – Day Shift – Zanesville. Travel assignment starting 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,005-$2,154 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is Day Shift. Setting: clinic-based CVOR handling open-heart cases; candidate must have Open Heart CVOR experience and be prepared to float to General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the CVOR for open-heart procedures and maintain a sterile field; manage instrument sets and sharps
- Assist the surgical team with instrument handling, counting, and central processing/instrumentation workflows
- Float and assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low, maintaining patient safety and sterile technique
- Collaborate with the circulating nurse and surgeon team to ensure proper case flow and intraoperative safety
- Perform OR turnover tasks between cases and assist with setup and breakdown of cardiovascular cases
- Adhere to BLS requirements and facility policies; maintain accurate documentation as needed

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- Certification: BLS required; CST preferred but not required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Open-Heart CVOR experience
- Skills: Excellent critical thinking; strong knowledge of central processing and instrumentation
- Additional: Ability to float/assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low; ability to work in a clinic CVOR setting
- RTO: All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission
